We offer several programs to help single moms in practical ways. If you have a specific need, we ask that you first check our Resources Page to see if there is an organization that may be able to help you listed there. If you cannot find assistance there, then

Single MOMM does not offer financial assistance, but we can help locate other agencies who may, or who may give food, clothing, help with car repair, etc. You may be surprised at how much help is actually out there.
Charitable & Governmental organizations will only offer assistance to the person who has the actual need. So they may tell Single MOMM what their services are, but they will not let us set up help for you. You must contact them yourself once Single MOMM has found a resource for you.
If you have a crisis situation building - overdue utility bills, rent or other payments, please do not wait to contact us. Usually the sooner you contact us, the easier it is for us to help find other organizations who might assist you.

Resource Finder Program
This program offers single moms help in locating specific resources in their area which may help them:
Find Relief In a Time of Financial Crisis
with Budgeting, Credit/Debt Counseling or Financial Planning
Find Emergency Shelter or Housing
H.O.M.E Program
HOME stands for Home-based Online Merchant Enterprise. This programs helps those single moms with the means (computer, internet service and basic computer skills) in developing an online business that they can run from their homes.
Single MOMM offers business development help, website and internet education and free technical support.
Moms enrolling in this program should understand that it takes a good deal of time to set-up and run a business and that it also take months, sometimes years to get the business to the point where it can support you and your family. However, if the time and energy are invested, an internet business can eventually support you, make you financially independant and allow you to stay home with your children. And it is something that can be developed at almost no cost - just your time and energy.
