Find out the current happenings of the ministry, stories of how your prayers and giving have helped single moms and their children in the Traverse City area, and the latest prayer requests and praises.

Sign up to be a prayer partner with our ministry. Receive updated prayer requests for the ministry and for specific single mom families throughout the Traverse City area.

4. Volunteer

If you have a heart to serve and would like to be a part of our ministry we are looking for volunteers to help with children during office visits, mentors that are willing to go through training and be a listening ear to single moms in need, and facilitators for educational classes.  For more info on how your talents can bless a single mom family, see our Volunteer Opportunities list.

5. Help a Single Mom Near You!

Here are some suggestions that would bless a single mom family near you. Cook a hot meal each week or monthly and take it to a single mom and her kids, help out with lawn care (raking leaves, mowing lawns, planting flowers, pulling weeds), offer free babysitting, invite her and her kids over for a meal, check and see if the family has some place to celebrate holidays (many moms may be alone during the holidays because their children are visiting their fathers), pay a bill for her, put together back to school bundles for her kids (backpacks, school supplies, new tennis shoes).
